Seared Chilean Seabass

Probably the best seafood dish I’ve experienced. Normally I would not be able to afford to eat at a restaurant this high end, but it was a special occasion, and so well worth it. If you’re intimidated by the price, take the leap and go for it. It’s a wonderful dining experience.

The tasting menu was one of the best dining experiences of our lives. The courses and wine pairings were timed perfectly to allow for each bite to be savored. The Seabass literally melted in my mouth. Thank You!

Fermented Daikon Radish “Piccata”

Sel offered a beautiful selection of dishes despite my dietary restrictions. Each menu item even greater than the last, but the Daikon Radish "Piccata" was unlike anything I had tasted before and was a true celebration for my taste buds! I am so thankful for the experience offered by Sel, and certainly plan to go again!

Malpeque Oyster Stew

Surprised with the depth of flavor in this unassuming soup. I was obsessed with each spoonful! It's inventive, warming, rich, and the perfect size to wet your appetite for the rest of the Chef's Tasting menu.. which did not disappoint!

Truffled Lobster Tagliatelle

I could eat this dish for the rest of my life! The homemade pasta was chewy and meaty - really great consistency and flavor. The sweet lobster with savory mushroom foam is a match made in heaven. Highly recommend!

Steak and Eggs

Sel opened for Brunch recently and I was very excited to see what Chef Brandon had designed for the menu. My guest and I did the 3 course experience and I would say that the key to each dish was balance. I had the Beet salad, Scallop, and the Steak and Eggs for my selections. As I went through each course I could tell that each ingredient was necessary for the dish. I have experienced Sel a couple of times and I look forward to every time I make a reservation.

Malpeque Oyster Stew

An outstanding opening dish. Incredible depth and dimension of flavours, and a wonderful array of textures between the broth, oyster, celery root puree and the roe. Lovely balance between smokey, creamy, and mineral palettes. I've been to Sel a couple times and dishes like this are what make me so eager to come back again soon. Bravo!

Miyazaki A5 Wagyu Striploin BMS 12

This was without a doubt The best meal of my life. My wife brought me on my birthday a few days ago and it changed the way taste. It opened my mind and my pallet. The Wagyu was devine. I can't wait to go again.

Strawberry-Marzipan Shortcake

Hands down a must have! The way this dessert is beautiful concocted to hit the sweet spot as the last course of the meal. I would get this dessert! The combination of flavors made this a hit because it wasn’t too sweet, wasn’t too heavy, and just right.
